Interview with John Morgan CEO of Nitches part 2

We asked John the CEO of Nich if he was up for another interview and he didn’t disappoint, he brought another banger. The interview is in a question answer format, enjoy!

1. How many different styles (hoodies, shirts, jackets etc.) of clothing does the company plan on launching with the Miles Davis Line. How many units for each?

Right now, we have provided VooDo Fe and the Miles Davis family and team with 8 samples.  This might be it, or we might produce more depending on demand for the product.  We haven’t set an amount but, the minimum order is set at 250.   Everyone who has seen the samples love the Samples and is excited about getting product in hand. 

2. Will the Miles Davis line be sold in stores or strictly online?
    VooDo Fe has an impressive catalog of clients and boutiques that have expressed interest in carrying the miles Davis line.   He has connections with over 150 boutiques and clothing stores that may be interested.  So, somewhere Between 1 that we already know will carry it and up to 150 plus will be sold online.  I know that this is a roundabout answer that sounds evasive and to be honest, it’s a little evasive because I’m just not 100% sure until VooDo Fe’s team can get out there and show the samples to boutiques.   Voodofe is a brilliant artist, designer and businessman.  His business acumen in regard to the legacy influencer space is impressive.   The prime samples that we provided to the Family and Estate of Miles Davis and VoodoFe really “wowed” the agency.  They were very happy and impressed by the sample products. 

3. How excited is the team to have gotten the chance to make something unique with Voodo Fe’?
VooDo Fe’ is an interesting cat.  Haha.  I smile every time I say “Cat” because that’s what VooDo Fe calls people and it’s a throwback and a breath of fresh air to chat with VooDo because in a way he is an incredible modern man with a pulse on the future but, with a respect for the heritage and legacy of the past that seems to bridge the age gap between the “old heads” and the young. 

4, Will Voodo Fe’ be doing other clothing lines with Nitches or is he solely focused on the Miles Davis line?
There has already been a lot of conversations about the next steps in regard to clothing lines and we love working together.  I believe there will be more brands created using Voodo’s extensive connections but, we all want to see how this goes first before we commit further resources so, nothing has been set in stone yet.  VooDo Fe’s connections are pretty crazy with influencers from the recent past who have passed on.  He’s really found a Niche in the legacy influencer space assistive with families and estates as well as some a lot of artists that are still touring.  So, there’s a lot of data we are going through to choose from which artist we want to work with whether it be the artist directly or their estate.  So, it’s a “who’s next?” type of situation. 

5. Does the company plan on partnering with other artists or companies using the Nitches OVS app?
We Plan on it but, we have even entertained some calls but, we haven’t found a feasible deal yet that made sense.  We are very open to working with anyone that would make sense to work with.   

6. Does the company plan on adding other unique artists such as Vodoo Fe’ in the future?
Absolutely, voodo Fe’ has an incredible catalogue of rights and connections that we COULD have access to manufacture for in the near future. 

7. How do you plan to maintain shareholder value? As a startup I imagine it’s very hard getting things off the ground and running.
     I plan to continue to surround myself with people who are better than me.   Let’s face it, I’m not the best designer or best manufacture or best connection to celebrities but, I know the best.  Just like with anything in life, if you surround yourself with people who are better than you then they will make you better.   

Maintaining and increasing shareholder value is paramount to me and to the company because, I am a very large shareholder and I have become pretty attached to my shares so I would like to see things continue along a positive path and direction.   

 Also, we (the Miles Davis project) have 3 new sales reps that are working on getting the lines in stores nationwide and also some international. It’s really exciting as these sales reps have worked on projects similar in the past with great success. 

8.  I believe in a prior press release the company stated that you will be creating a “positive manifestation” clothing line. Does Nitches still plan on launching that or is it still in the business planning and designing stages?
Yes, as you are probably aware, supply chain and shipping has been crazy the last few years.  Things just taking a little longer to get ahold of and to get shipped…. And prices for materials and shipping has gone up as fuel cost has.   We just had it shipped end of last week and shipping estimate showed 30 days.   I’m going to assume it will take a few days for everything to be scanned in but, we are probably tracking early September for when items will be on the website and ready to order. 

9. Being in the clothing industry there’s lots of competition, what separates Nitches from those other companies? 

Our agility and our connections.   Being able to move fast once we make a decision is what sets us apart.   We don’t HAVE to work with anyone we don’t want to, and we can keep commitments and costs to a reasonable level.  We can handle everything from concept to completion and when our clients have an idea or a creative that they want to do we have the ability to act.   Heck, Peace on Marz started out as just an idea for a hat and a hoodie and we were able to expand on that and get a world-renowned marvel artist to help create the NFT project (which is going amazingly well!). 

10. With the Peace on Marz NFT project do you guys’ plan on doing a Free mint release or paid release? 

We are looking at free or possibly very low cost with gas fees.   We haven’t nailed that down specifically yet, but we will be making that decision these next few weeks

11.  Are there any upcoming events the company plans on attending to expand the business or create new connections with other businesses or people?

Of course, we are always looking for events like Bitcoin Miami that we attended earlier this year, and several Cloud Yacht events. 

12.  To close the interview we want to ask, are you having fun being a part of the creation process and being able to make things happen in space? How is the stress and workload?

I’m very excited and its super fun being able to assist and enable people to create.  Everyone on the team is a creator.  Is it stressful?!   You bet!   It’s absolutely stressful and between all the projects my head doesn’t get to see my pillow as much as I would like but, the reward outweighs the workload, or I wouldn’t be doing this.   And I can speak for everyone on the team and say that we all feel this way.  We are building something we all believe in that will eventually be an unstoppable machine.  Is it taking longer that we would like?  Sure.    But we also don’t like to put the creative processes in a box and limit creativity.
